Leo Leibel is the accomplished Principal and General Manager of Restruction Alberta Ltd., With a career spanning several decades, Leo has seamlessly blended his extensive experience in construction with a robust background in education.
Starting his journey in 1986, Leo founded and operated his own construction company, establishing a reputation for excellence in renovation projects. His early career saw him excel in the educational sector, earning an Honors degree in Education from the University of British Columbia in 1989. Between 1990 and 2004, Leo held teaching positions with various institutions, including the Abbotsford School District, Edmonton Public Schools, Northern Alberta Institute of Technology, and the University of Alberta.
From 1994 to 2004, Leo further distinguished himself as a Construction Expert and Judge for Skills Canada, evaluating carpentry skills at regional, provincial, national, and international competitions. His expertise in the field has made him an influential figure in the construction community in Edmonton.
Leo’s commitment to the industry extends to his active involvement with prominent associations, including the Edmonton Construction Association, Alberta Construction & Safety Association, and the Canadian Association of Home & Property Inspectors. His career also includes a role as Project Manager for a local engineering firm from 2012 to 2019, where he honed his project management skills.
