Michael Harney is a seasoned Project Manager and Carpenter Foreman with over two decades of experience in the construction industry, currently based in Edmonton, AB. Mike began his career in Ireland, where he completed his apprenticeship and earned a FETAC Level 6 certification with distinction in Carpentry/Joinery from Sligo Institute of Technology. He worked with Shine Construction and Magnus Construction, where he gained valuable experience in supervising carpentry teams, conducting site layouts, and ensuring compliance with safety specifications. His expertise spans residential, commercial, and industrial construction, including interior finishing, roofing, framing, and preventative maintenance.
Mike completed his Construction Management and Administration from the University of Alberta while acting as a Foreman with Restruction. In his current role as a Project Manager at Restruction Alberta Ltd, he continues to excel in planning and scheduling work, reading blueprints, conducting safety meetings, and communicating effectively with all project stakeholders.
